"Going Underground ...."
On September 4th Seafoam Green made their unique impression LIVE on the famous WDR Rockpalast stage at the Underground Club in Cologne.

Joining Michael Antony (Lead Vocals) & Peter Fischer (Lead Guitar) were Jörg Schebaum on Drums, Ralf Fahlenbock on Bass, Jörg Brückchen on Rhythm Guitar with Karsten & Simone Stiers providing the Backing Vocals. This is the same line up as featured in the recent Cuxhaven shows. Michael commented; "I understand that it is a great honour to perform here. Rockpalast has a long history of breaking new and up-coming acts, as well as many established artists." He added; "We had a similar show in England called The Old Grey Whistle Test when I was young. I always wanted to sing on that type of show. Like Rockpalast it was LIVE, and that somehow seemed much cooler than Top Of The Pops were you had to mime! I´m really proud that Seafoam Green can be included amongst the likes of Joan Armatrading, Laith Al-Deen, Maximo Park, Ray Wilson, Silbermond etc."

With regards to the new album release and planned tour Michael had this to say; "I think we have a really great follow up to "Songs....", a little harder and more mature perhaps, but totally cool songs. Plus we have found some great musicians who believe 100% as we do in the material. They seem to have fun to be on stage with us, and in my experience that´s a pretty rare thing."

The actual television broadcast date for the show is scheduled for October 29th. For more details, photos and an exclusive acoustic performance check out www.rockpalast.de .
